Distanced learning has been a real challenge over the past year. It did allow me to have more classes closer together because I did not have to worry about getting from one class to the next, as well as it allowed me to take classes from home and not need to pay for housing on campus so I was able to save some money. Distanced learning has made it difficult to get into conversations with my classmates and bounce my ideas off of them when it comes to class discussions. If I had the option to determine my class size, I would try to have a more manageable class size so that my students would be able to engage in discussions, and I would begin class with a small talk question and have everyone answer to start a simple conversation.

Open educational resources, or OER's, are resources that are available to everyone and on different mediums. This means that these sources are public domain and are offered through websites, videos, and online books. Provided is an article written by the Indiana University of Pennsylvania which outlines what an OER is and provides different examples of OER's, such as online textbooks and online learning modules.

Throughout the two different PowerPoint assignments I was able to practice what I already knew and get more comfortable using PowerPoint in different ways. Learning to record my lectures would make them easier for me to post them online for any student that would miss one of my lectures. In terms of dislikes, I found PowerPoint to be a bit tricky at times and difficult to use when it comes to trying to find different page layouts and implementing my own layouts. Utilizing the function of making a PowerPoint non-linear I found difficult at first, but once I was able to disable the linear function it forced me to create objects to allow the person playing the game to proceed. Otherwise both processes were reasonably manageable.
